Killer Wiring Overhaul

1. What the Wiring Overhaul Includes

• Whole-home wiring assessment and scope plan
• Installation of new grounded branch circuits (as scoped)
• Replacement of unsafe legacy wiring where accessible, or lawful abandonment where removal is not feasible
• New receptacles/switches and device terminations (standard residential)
• Grounding & bonding corrections required for the scope and permit approval
• Permit application and inspection coordination with the local AHJ

2. What Is Not Included

• Drywall repair, plaster repair, painting, finish carpentry or restoration of decorative surfaces
• Asbestos/lead remediation or hazardous material abatement
• Structural work, framing modifications
• Specialty systems (alarm, low-voltage, data, coax) unless included
• Appliance installation unless included

3. Walls, Ceilings, and Access

Rewires require access. Some access cuts are necessary (especially in plaster-and-lath homes). We will make access openings as needed. Cosmetic patching/painting is not included unless explicitly stated.

4. Knob & Tube Notes

Legacy wiring may be unsafe or brittle. We will not energize or "patch" unsafe wiring. When removal is not feasible without major demolition, wiring may be abandoned in place in a code-compliant manner.

5. Pricing: What Changes the Final Cost

• Hidden junctions, buried splices, or unsafe prior work
• Inaccessible routes requiring additional access openings
• Panel/service limitations requiring upgrades
• Non-standard construction (brick/stone walls, fully finished ceilings, historic finishes)
• Customer-requested scope expansion

6. Code-Compliance Guarantee

Work performed under the approved scope will be installed in a code-compliant manner and will pass inspection. If an inspection identifies a deficiency in our installed work (within scope), we will correct it at no additional labor charge.

7. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling or authorizing a Wiring Overhaul, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these conditions and scope terms.
